Gihonews Digital Desk — Korean gamjatang franchise Jomaru Gamjatang announced that it is sponsoring the production of JTBC’s new Monday–Tuesday drama The Good Detective, which premiered on Monday, July 6.

Airing every Monday and Tuesday at 9:30 p.m., The Good Detective is a crime drama centered on detectives Kang Do-chan (played by Son Hyun-joo) and Oh Ji-hyuk (played by Jang Seung-jo). The story follows their pursuit of hidden truths behind a murder case from five years ago that everyone thought was already solved, keeping viewers on edge.

Through this sponsorship, Jomaru Gamjatang plans to showcase its signature menu items such as bean sprout pork spine jjim and soy sauce pork spine jjim, naturally blending the brand into the show. With director Jo Nam-guk, known as a master of directing, at the helm and veteran actor Son Hyun-joo leading the cast, the drama is expected to attract significant attention and boost brand visibility.

A company representative said that Jomaru Gamjatang has previously sponsored popular SBS dramas such as Nobody Knows and Dr. Romantic 2, successfully capturing consumer attention. The representative added that through The Good Detective the company aims to further establish itself as a familiar and beloved brand.
